So you've stumbled upon my journal.  I figure that means you probably want to know a bit about me and not get incredibly confused as to what the hell I'm fapping about.

Primarily, this is a fandom geek out journal.

And that's all you need to know for now =p.

Tite Kubo Tweet - Twitter - Tweet - February 24, 2010 - Tite Kubo's response to hearing that BLEACH has been plagiarized.  Translates (roughly) to:

"So, uh, from yesterday night until this morning, there've been an amazing number of messages from overseas fans along the lines of "There's a manga imitating BLEACH in America!" Well, I had a look at the site and I don't understand English that well, but I think what's written there is something like "It's a manga drawn by Gene Simmons' son, Nick Simmons."

The fact that Gene Simmon's son is a manga-ka disturbs me more than whether he's really copying or not."

Radical Publishing's response in regards to INCARNATE - Myspace - Blog - February 25, 2010 - Self-explanatory.  Quote:

"We at Radical Publishing, Inc. and Radical Comics, Inc. are quite concerned to hear the news surrounding Nick Simmons’s Incarnate Comic Book. We are taking this matter seriously and making efforts now to contact the publishers of the works in question in an effort to resolve this matter.  We have halted further production and distribution of the “Incarnate” comic book and trade paperback until the matter is resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.  Rest assured that Radical is taking swift action regarding this matter and will continue in its efforts to maintain the integrity and protect the intellectual property of artists throughout the world whose creative works are the bedrock of our Company and the comic book industry."

Radical Comics - Official website - Link to publisher of INCARNATE.  INCARNATE comic book link is no longer available due to RADICAL halting publication.

Nick Simmon's Incarnate Halted Over Alleged Plagiarisim - Anime News Network - News Article -

Nick Simmons Release Statement, Takes No Responsibility - Comics Worth Reading - Article - March 1, 2010 - Nick Simmons' statement to plagiarism allegations.

Comic Book Creator Accused of Plagiarism - New York Times.com - Major News Article - March 1, 2010 - Not nearly as informative as previous, "fan" articles, but of noteworthy caliber.

Nick Simmons, the internet mob, and copyright -  Fan(gril) Law - Article - March 2, 2010 - A very intelligently written article expressing that what Nick Simmons has done is certainly not condonable, may legally prove to be a stretch and without merit to take to court.  Mentions what repercussions it could have for fan artists and doujinshi artists could face in the future if legal action were to take place.

More to be added.
